I’m a contrarian by nature, so even thought I dislike Hilary I’m hesitant to jump on her at the moment given how awfully she’s been doing lately. Moreover, as the NYT discusses, this disastrous video isn’t her fault.

Nevertheless, this is an excruciatingly awkward riposte to the slicker, hipper, and universally-beloved Obama agitprop posted so often on Tumblr.

Not that there’s any substantive political meaning to music videos or their proclamations of either her competence or his hope, but still: if this is how the game is played, Hilary seems lost.
