Zoom GPOYW: Abby’s photo, titled “my boyfriend is a businessman.” My zipper is visible; my tie is loose; I have a funny stance, which I’ll never cease to feel self-conscious about (it may relate to my flat-footedness); rather than, say, scotch, I’m drinking hyper-tart pure cranberry juice, which I can chug by the gallon and think is the best-tasting-liquid in the universe; and while I once thought otherwise, it’s becoming clearer to me that I am not, in fact, a very good businessman at all. It’s hard to tell, as one approaches it, a breakthrough from a breakdown.
